Suzuki Piano Method

I have been receiving emails from parents regarding the Suzuki Piano Method for their children. I only know one teacher who Suzuki-trained and he is currently based in Singapore. His name is Darren Teo.

Please email me at alexandra.minoza@gmail.com if you know any Suzuki-trained teacher in Singapore. Currently, Suzuki Piano teachers are in demand due to its success among its students and parents around the globe.

Please do read about the Suzuki Piano Method so that you know what to expect from the teacher and from yourself as a parent. This method has only 3 components: student, teacher and parent. I have a list of suggested readings (BOOKS) about this method on my Suzuki Piano Blog at:

Relocating to India

Dear Piano Students,

I will be relocating to India from June 2012. Do let me know if you are keen to have 'intensive' piano lessons before I leave Singapore. Intensive lessons offered are for the ABRSM piano examination preparations for June 2012 exam dates or 2013 exam dates. Besides the ABRSM examinations, I am also offering to teach you how to play by heart some classical pieces within 5 months. Here are the pieces that I can think of which are achievable for a late beginner or intermediate level:

Beethoven's Fur Elise, Clementi Sonatinas, some of Mozart's Sonatas (Exposition of the 1st movement), Debussy's Reverie, some of the ABRSM Piano Grades 1-4 pieces, popular pieces such as Clayderman' s Ballade pour Adeline and his other songs. Do let me know!

I encourage you all to enroll for music lessons (piano, violin, flute, drums and voice) at a music school. I do recommend Klassique Musik.

Back to Singapore

Dear students,

I recently graduated with a Master of Music in Advanced Performance (Piano) from the Royal College of Music on July 8, 2011. It was the best learning experience I have gained from the city itself, London, and its people from professors to fellow musicians, artists and friends.

I will be going back to Singapore, and will resume teaching in October 2011.

Please email me regarding your questions about learning the piano and music in general: traditional piano lessons, piano accompaniment, Suzuki Piano method, adult piano lessons, music theory, or benefits of being involved with music in Singapore! We have the Esplanade, Victoria Concert Hall and the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music Concert Hall for our enjoyment of wonderful music and musicians.

Please feel free to contact me at alexandra.minoza@rcm.ac.uk or alexandra.minoza@gmail.com. See you soon!

Warmest Regards,
Alexandra
